After delving into the depths of our Morris & Co. archive, our designers discovered original colourways in Morris & Co. wallpaper log books from the 1960’s. These patterns were not only beautiful and authentic in colour, but they also inspired remarkable colour combinations and pairings. The new Thameside collection by Morris & Co. and Freespirit captures the craftsmanship behind William Morris’ choice of colour and reignites the timeless patterns of Morris & Co to create a brave and vibrant range of fabrics. Chalky hues of blue and green become abruptly interrupted by fiery reds and vivid yellows. Furthermore, rich chocolate browns and soft pinks offer a unique insight into William Morris’ more calmer take on colour.
